NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed Bids and First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Forms will be received by Pat McGough, Facilities Manager of West Linn Wilsonville School District, at the District Operations Center, 2755 SW Borland Road, Tualatin, Oregon 97062, until 2:15 pm local time, May 31, 2017, for the general construction of the Athey Creek Middle School Partial Roof Replacement Project. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time fixed for receiving bids will be returned, unopened. General Contractors will be required to submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form within the time frame indicated below.

BIDDING DOCUMENTS
Briefly, the work for this project shall be executed under a single general construction contract including General work for the Athey Creek Middle School Partial Roof Replacement Project.
Bidding documents for the work are those prepared by the Roof Consultant, Professional Roof Consultants, Inc. 1108 SE Grand Avenue, Suite 300, Portland, Oregon 97214. Bona fide General Bidders may obtain (2) sets free of charge (without a deposit) and plan holders will also have access to digital documents via Willamette Print and Blueprint digital plan room, at Willamette Print and Blueprint, 2461 NW Yeon Avenue, OR 97210; (503-223-5011); http://wpbinc.com/digital-planroom/
Bidders shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids. Neither the School District nor the Consultant assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents.

PRE-BID MEETING
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held, for all contractors intending to submit bids for this project, on May 23, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the District Operations Center, located at 2755 Borland Road West Linn, Oregon.
A Non-Mandatory Site Walk of the project is scheduled for May 23, 2017 from 10:30 am – 11:30 am.

BID SECURITY
No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier’s check or surety bond executed by a State licensed surety company, payable to the School District in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. No interest will be paid on bid security. Return or retention of bid security shall be subject to the provisions of ORS 279.031.

DISCLOSURE FORM
All contractors, pursuant to ORS 279.027, are required to complete Document 00 43 50 – First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form under the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. The completed form must be received at the District Operation Center Offices within 2 hours of the Bid time and date.
