Project Name: West Linn High School Door Security Hardware. Sealed Bids and First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Forms will be received by Ellen Leventhal of West Linn Wilsonville School District at the District Operations Center, 2755 SW Borland Road, Tualatin, Oregon 97062, until 2:00 p.m. PST, January 24, 2024, for the West Linn High School Door Security Hardware project. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time fixed for receiving bids will be returned, unopened. General Contractors will be required to submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form within the time frame indicated below.

Briefly, the work for this project shall be executed under a single general construction contract for West Linn High School for the West Linn Wilsonville School District. The intent of the project is to replace cores in all doors through the buildings of the school and install classroom lockdown hardware at classrooms and select other locations.

Bidding documents for the work are those prepared by Arcadis Architects, 830 NE Holladay St., Portland Oregon, 97232 (503-226-6950). Bona fide General Bidders may obtain two (2) hard copy sets and a digital copy, after 4:00 p.m. December 13, 2023, at Willamette Print and Blueprint; 3461 NW Yeon Ave., Portland, OR 97210; (503-223-5011) at no cost.

Should a bidder wish additional sets or parts of sets, they may obtain them by paying the cost of the reproduction thereof, plus handling and mailing costs, with no refund for the additional sets or parts thereof.

Bidders shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids. Neither the School District nor the Architect assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents.

Bidding Documents will be available for examination during the bidding period at the District Operations Center and in the following organization offices:

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for all contractors intending to submit bids for this project on January 9, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at West Linn High School, 5464 West A Street, West Linn, OR 97068.

No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check or surety bond executed by a State licensed surety company, payable to the School District in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. No interest will be paid on bid security. Return or retention of bid security shall be subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.385.
All contractors, pursuant to ORS 279C.370, are required to complete Document 00 43 50 – First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form under the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. The completed form must be received at the District Operation Center Offices within 2 hours of the Bid time and date.

All bids must be received at the District Operations Center, 2755 SW Borland Road, Tualatin, Oregon 97062 on bid closing date and time shown above.

This Project is subject to State of Oregon Prevailing Wage requirements in accordance with ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870.
