NOTICE TO BIDDERS
1.01 SEALED BIDS
A. Sealed Bids will be received by Amy Berger of West Linn – Wilsonville School District, at the
District Operation Center located at 2755 SW Borland Road, Tualatin OR 97062, until 2:00 pm
local time, on 6/22/2021; for the general construction of the Wilsonville High School Auditorium
Addition project. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time
fixed for receipt of bids will be returned unopened. General Contractors will be required to
submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure within the timeframe below. Project is estimated at
$22M base bid.
1.02 SOLICITATION SCHEDULE
A. The schedule below contains certain specific dates. These dates shall be adhered to and are
the last acceptable dates, unless modified by mutual agreement between Contractor and the
Owner. All dates indicated at midnight, unless otherwise stipulated. The only exceptions to this
schedule are defined in the General Conditions under 8.3 – Delays and Extensions of Time.

1.03 BIDDING DOCUMENTS
A. Briefly, the work for this project shall be executed under a single general construction contract
and includes Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil,
Landscaping,Technology, and various specialty disciplines and work for the construction of
Wilsonville High School Auditorium Addition for the West Linn – Wilsonville School District.
B. The following General Contractors have been prequalified for this project:
1. Emerick Construction Company
2. Kirby Nagelhout Construction
3. P&C Construction
4. Perlo Construction
5. Todd Construction, Inc.
6. Triplett Wellman Contractors
C. Bidding documents for the work are those prepared by the Architect, Bora Architecture &
Interiors, 720 SW Washington, Suite 800, Portland, Oregon 97205 (503.226.1575). Bona fide
Prequalified General Bidders may obtain two sets free of charge, on the date stated in Part
1.02 of this Section at Willamette Print and Blueprint; 3461 NW Yeon Ave., Portland, OR
97210; (503-223-5011). Plan holders will also have access to digital documents at Willamette
Print and Blueprint at the same location (https://wpbinc.com/digital-planroom/).
D. Should a bidder wish additional sets or parts of sets, the bidder may obtain them by paying the
cost of the reproduction thereof, plus handling and mailing costs, with no refund for the
additional sets or parts thereof.

E. Bidders shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids. Neither the School
District nor the Architect assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting
from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents.

1.04 PRE-BID MEETING
A. A one-time Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for all general contractors intending
to submit bids for the project. This will be a virtual meeting via a WLWV Zoom Link. The Link
will be posted at https://www.wlwv.k12.or.us/domain/1999 prior to scheduled meeting. Date
and time of the pre-Bid Conference is as stated in Part 1.02 of this Section. Only upon request
will a tour of the Site and Building be available. See 00 21 13 4.01 for further information
regarding site walks.
1.05 BID SECURITY
A. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified
check, bank cashier’s check, or surety bond executed by a state-licensed surety company,
payable to West Linn – Wilsonville School District, in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of
the Base Bid. No interest will be paid on bid security. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid after
the hour set for the opening thereof, or thereafter, before award of the Contract, unless award
is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days from the date of bid opening. Return or
retention of bid security shall be subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.385.
1.06 DISCLOSURE FORM
A. All contractors, pursuant to ORS 279C.370, are required to complete Document 00 43 50 -
First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form. The completed form must be received at the District
Operation Center within 2 hours of the bid closing date and time.
B. All bids must be received at District Operations Center prior to bid closing date and time shown
above.
C. This Project is subject to State of Oregon Prevailing Wage requirements in accordance with
ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870.
D. DATES OF PUBLICATION: May 19 & 21, 2021
